Best Western Plus Hotel Waltham Boston is looking for a General Manager with strong operations experience, someone capable of positioning the hotel as the market leader in both guest satisfaction and financial performance.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate!  We are specifically looking to hire a dynamic General Manager skilled in developing and training teams, effectively controlling costs and exceeding YOY revenue and high guest satisfaction ratings.  You must be an expert communicator and passionate about fostering a positive results-oriented team atmosphere.

We are looking for a General Manager with minimum two years hotel management experience.  We are searching for someone not afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump right in to help the team.  Previous experience with a major hotel brand is a plus.

Our hotel General Manager must have strong sales knowledge and is capable of exceeding company objectives and improving business operations by achieving RO through labor cost control and revenue management.  Specifically the responsibilities of the position require a manager capable of immediately driving sales while also maintaining our customer-driven operation steadfastly focused on exceeding client expectations and excellent hotel leadership, administrative and organizational skills.

You must have superior guest service skills, an eye for quality control, a passion for employee training and engagement, strong leadership skills to ensure that the property is obtaining the highest possible REV/PAR, ADR and Occupancy through effective revenue management and bottom-line profit maximization.

You will be responsible for directing the operations of the hotel to ensure a safe, secure and quality experience for each hotel guest and staff member.  This individual must be dynamic and have strong multi-task abilities in front & back-office systems, budgeting, forecasting, payroll, expense control, employee and guest relations with proven service training skills, leadership, team building, and be “results-driven”.  Outstanding communication skills and leadership ability that result in award-winning hospitality will be attributes of the successful candidate.

You will be required to generate new business and continue to maintain our current strong account base, drive rate and occupancy, maintain the property through a planned preventive maintenance program and ensure brand QA identified product and service standards are met.
