Position Summary:
As a Hotel Housekeeping Attendant, you will be a key player in ensuring our rooms and public spaces are consistently clean, safe, and inviting for all who visit. With attention to detail and a positive, friendly attitude, you’ll help maintain high standards that delight our guests and support your fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room & Public Area Maintenance: Ensure every corner, surface, and fixture is spotless. This includes cleaning and sanitizing rooms, hallways, and public areas, washing shower walls, tubs, toilets, and stall walls, and wiping windows, doors, and other surfaces.
- Guest Comfort & Safety: Stock guest rooms with fresh towels, toiletries, and amenities, replacing any items that are missing or damaged. Test room features like locks, lights, and remotes for full functionality, reporting any issues promptly.
- Organized & Efficient Work: Set up and maintain your cleaning cart with all necessary supplies, keeping carts and storage areas clean and organized for seamless daily operations.
- Floor & Furniture Care: Dust, polish, and sanitize all furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings. Vacuum and clean all floor types, from carpeted areas to tile and linoleum.
- Linen Management: Strip and remake beds with fresh linens, checking closets for cleanliness and restocking guest essentials like hangers, extra blankets, and pillows.
- Friendly & Approachable: Maintain a courteous, cheerful attitude with guests and colleagues, enhancing the welcoming environment of our hotel.
- Additional Duties: Step in for other tasks as needed to support the housekeeping team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform cleaning tasks that require bending, stooping, and extending arms overhead, and to push or pull wheeled equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Schedule Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and up to 40 hours per week, with hours based on hotel occupancy levels.

Pay: $17.90 to $18/hour
Wages are reviewed annually. Full time staff (30 hrs or more per week) can join also join our benefits program.
