We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. This position plays a key role in driving group and corporate sales, managing client relationships, and increasing overall hotel revenue.
Position Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and generating revenue through group bookings, meetings, conferences, and events. This role requires a proactive approach to market research, client engagement, and sales strategy execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed revenue goals for rooms.
Proactively seek out new corporate, government, association, and group business through prospecting and networking.
Conduct property tours and site visits for prospective clients and planners.
Respond promptly to sales inquiries and prepare customized proposals and contracts.
Foster long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and community functions.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales reports to management.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience in hotels.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in sales platforms.
Self-motivated, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with the Baltimore market and its corporate, government, and association sectors is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
